June and July  2020
Friday 17th July 2020- Our last day in Year 1!!

Good morning wonderful year 1. Wow, I can't believe that this is our final day in year 1. What a strange year it has been. I have been looking through our class pages and remembering all the fabulous times we had full of playing, learning, experimenting and performing. I wish that we  had had the chance to finish the year together but it was not meant to be. I'm really looking forward to watching you grow up through the school though and hopefully I'll be able to teach you again in year 5.

I think you have all been fabulous this year and have coped with everything so well. Thank you for being so positive and smiling throughout this. Thank you also for all your pictures and messages throughout lockdown, it has been fabulous to see everything you have been up to. In September you will come back to school and be big year 2s. Mrs Goulding is really excited to get to know you all and Mrs Jones is so happy to be in your class again.

If we had been in school today it would have been toy day. We would have spent the day playing, tidying, playing games and eating a picnic lunch. You could re-create toy day at home today. Play with your favourite toys, or ones you haven't played with for a while. Help your adults to tidy your rooms or toy boxes then have a picnic lunch in the garden or in the park.

Mrs Jones has made 2 final videos for you. How to make a coaster and how to make your own pencil pot. She asked me to tell you how proud she is of you all and how much she has missed you over the last few months.

I am so proud of you all too. Have a fantastic summer holiday children.
Make sure you are ALWAYS kind and be sure to keep SMILING.
Take care of yourselves,
Goodbye for now,
From
Miss Arden
