Online Safety

Online Safety

The internet, mobile technologies, portable games consoles, social networking and instant messaging services are all becoming increasingly more important in society.  As a school, we recognise our role is not to ignore these technologies, but to teach children, through our computing curriculum,  the underpinning knowledge and behaviours which will help them to stay safe online. As teachers and parents it is important to keep our knowledge of potential dangers, useful strategies, trends and related threats up to date.

This section of our VLE contains information, links and contact details related to e-safety.  Use the links for help and advice and to find out more about how you and your children can stay safe online.

Does your child play games online? Do they use apps on their device? Do you know if they're safe?

The National Online Safety website includes excellent up to date posters of information on the latest apps and games and how you can support your child to use them safely.
