Google Classroom information for parents/carers

Using Google Classroom for Remote Learning

 

As part of our commitment to supporting pupils during closure, we will be implementing Google Classroom as a vehicle to communicate with pupils and set learning opportunities. This will be up and running ready for Monday 11th January 2021.

 

Children in Years Reception to 6 have been set up with an account which consists of their username and a password. You will receive an email from the school office with these details. We do expect there to be teething problems initially therefore please contact the school office on Monday if you have a problem logging into Google Classroom.

 

We will be using Google Meets for registration purposes only. We have set it up for each class to use on Monday 11th January, please follow the instructions as set out in your letter.

 

Please note however the way that you join a Meet may change as we are unsure of how it will work across the school at present. Please bear with us as we iron out initial issues.

 

Any changes or further instructions will be text or emailed to you.
